High-speed trains have become a common type of transport in many countries. They can travel at 350 kilometres an hour, which makes journeys much faster and more comfortable. For example, a trip that once took six hours can now be completed in two. Passengers enjoy quiet carriages, as they are designed to be soundproof inside. Engineers are working hard to make the trains safer and more environmentally friendly. In the future, a high-speed railroad network could cover most of Europe and Asia. This would make travelling between capitals and major cities much easier. Moreover, high-speed trains reduce pollution compared to cars and planes, which is beneficial for the environment. Modern technology has turned these trains into symbols of progress and efficiency in transportation.
