The Internet is a powerful tool, but it also brings serious risks. Millions of teenagers go online daily to study, play games, or chat with friends. Unfortunately, some of them become victims of cyberbullying, fraud, or identity theft. For example, according to statistics from 2022, nearly 30 percent of teenagers in Europe experienced some form of online harassment. Specialists emphasize that personal information should never be shared with strangers. Complex passwords, privacy settings, and cautious behavior can prevent many problems. Another danger is fake news, which spreads rapidly on social networks and influences public opinion. Schools around the world are now introducing courses on digital literacy to prepare students for safe online communication. Although the Internet seems anonymous, every click leaves a digital footprint. Responsible use of technology helps young people protect themselves and remain unique individuals.
